In fact, in his acceptance speech back in November 2008,  Obama thanked the democratic system that had allowed him to be elected.  That was one of the few times he mentioned democracy during his both tenures.

BENADOR: COULD A TRIUMVIRATE UNITE AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES?

At a time when American conservatism is in shambles due to the profuse and confusing amalgam of variants filed under that denomination, it may be opportune to propose some kind of unifying formula.

The situation is particularly distressing considering that only 386 days are left to election day (today is October 18, 2015.)

To begin with, the conservative party, the GOP, has accepted a never seen amount of 15 republican candidates at this initial stage.
