BENADOR: A TRUMP MET PLANNED PARENTHOOD
The first daughter met with Planned Parenthood, the pro-abortion organization asking them to stop performing abortions and continue doing them under another label, so they could continue being funded. They refused.
Donald Trump knew from the beginning that if he wanted his campaign to be successful, it had to be under a conservative banner.
All other positions were already covered, from Democrats to Republicans were all set. So he chose to fill the conservative gap.
Indeed, ever since the inauguration, Trump has been keen in implementing “his conservative agenda,” with more or less success.
For now, LifeNews Headquarters seem satisfied with the President’s performance of his first 100 days:
“Since taking office just over 100 days ago, President Donald Trump and his administration have provided the pro-life movement with several major victories.
Trump started with reinstating the Mexico City policy defunding International Planned Parenthood and continued with defunding the pro-abortion UNFPA and signing a bill to allow states to defund Planned Parenthood abortion company.
Trump also put pro-life advocates in key places such as Jess Sessions as Attorney General, Tom Price as HHS Secretary and Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador.
“Donald Trump ran as a pro-life candidate and pledged he would have a pro-life administration, and he has made good on his word,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “President Trump remains steadfast in his pro-life position, and we are excited by his pro-life accomplishments in his first 100 days in office. I have no doubt that President Trump’s leadership on behalf of the pro-life cause will continue to not only save lives of the unborn, but help pave the way for generations to come.”
Tobias added, “This is a great time for the right-to-life movement, and we take heart in knowing that the Trump Administration will continue its work to defend and protect the fundamental right to life in the United States.””
The Ivanka Chapter
In the aftermath of the President’s inauguration, his oldest adult daughter initiated moves to quietly meet Cecile Richards, the infamous president of the diabolical organization Planned Parenthood.
Reportedly, her goal was to find a compromise for the abortion organization and the forthcoming anti-abortion legislation her father was about to sign.
The first daughter requested a sit-down with Cecile Richards, the head of Planned Parenthood and a vocal surrogate for Hillary Clinton on the 2016 campaign trail, to talk about an organization that is being targeted by Republicans seeking to defund it because it provides abortions, among other women’s health services like cancer screenings.
Their under-the-radar meeting — a rarity between a well-known Democratic activist and a close adviser to a Republican president — has not been previously reported.
“The purpose of the meeting, from Cecile’s point of view, was to make sure that Ivanka fully understood what Planned Parenthood does, how it is funded, and why it would be a terrible idea for Planned Parenthood to be removed from being able to see Medicaid patients,” said Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. “The main thing that Cecile Richards was doing was explaining that the money doesn’t actually go to abortions — we get reimbursed the same way a hospital does. We were clearing up misinformation about how this works.”
In a nutshell, Trump’s daughter advised Planned Parenthood to stop performing abortions to continue being funded. Nonetheless, the organization refused her suggestion.
Trump was not yet officially the highest ranking Presidential Adviser in the current White House. Now, she is.
Ivanka Trump talks with the head of Planned Parenthood, about what?
According to the New York Times:
Ms. Trump approached its president, Cecile Richards, to start a broader dialogue. She also had a proposal: Planned Parenthood should split in two, Ms. Trump suggested, with a smaller arm to provide abortions and a larger one devoted to women’s health services.
White House officials said Ms. Trump was trying to find a common-sense solution amid the roar of abortion politics. But Planned Parenthood officials said they thought Ms. Trump’s advice was naïve, failing to understand how central reproductive choice was to the group’s mission. Ms. Richards sharply criticized Ms. Trump for not publicly objecting to the Republican health care bill that failed in March, and Ms. Trump felt stung.
Speaking generally, Ms. Trump complained in the interview that many advocacy groups were “so wedded to the headline of the issue that sometimes differing perspectives and new information, when brought to the table, are viewed as an inconvenience because it undermines the thesis.”
Despite the tension, Ms. Trump helped preserve and increase funding for women’s health in the government spending deal devised over the weekend, a White House official said. But the victory may be short-lived: The coming bill that would repeal the Affordable Care Act may include a measure to strike Planned Parenthood’s funding. END
The Truth About Life and Abortion
Life begins with the cell formed by the mother’s egg and the father’s sperm.
In that single, unique cell is contained the life of each human being.
That’s the way G-D created the human being.
A husband and his wife, make love and together create life.
If and when a single woman gets pregnant, there are other solutions. Abortion is not a solution and us as a society should guide and help so that all other solutions be considered for a favorable resolution to save that new life contained in that cell.
That cell is holy and no one should touch it.
This writer and all my readers began our lives as one single cell.
That is going to continue forever.
Only G-D gives life. Only G-D takes it. On His Time.
What G-D gives only G-D can take.
Conclusion
The proposed second health care bill is in the President’s hands and unfortunately, funding for Planned Parenthood is still there.
While the President’s adviser has not yet made known her official position regarding abortion, it is worrisome to witness the seemingly coordinated move between father and daughter addressing the issue of Planned Parenthood.
During the campaign, the President stated: “Unless Planned Parenthood stops doing abortions, we should de-fund it.”
And, later on, sweet Ivanka asked to meet Richards, precisely to tell her that: “Stop doing abortions,” so Planned Parenthood would not be defunded.
Who cares about the selling of baby parts?
The political and verbal coordinated dancing among the President and his daughter adviser should be closely watched.
After all:
In the meantime the second effort, not to repeal but, to replace Obamacare, contains funding for Planned Parenthood.
And, so, under the Presidency of Donald J. Trump, America’s Baby Holocaust might go on.
