BENADOR: PRESIDENT TRUMP SEEKS UN REFORM

Latest news informs us that President Donald J. Trump has now a new project ahead.  He wants to gather consensus for a UN Reform.

Nationalism vs. Globalism 

Since the dawn of his tenure, President Trump hesitates between the promises made to his voters and his loyalty to his closest family members.

America First was his premature baby he put on the map to impress and please the conservative part of the American electorate.

His voters saw in him their knight in the shining armor, body able, willing to stand up against the political correctness with his boldness and the incredible courage with which he struggled to become their leader.

They knew that by choosing him, they would save not only America but the world as a whole.

It was about controlling immigration to favor American jobless, about reverting the debilitating common core education, about bringing back companies that had left America in search for cheap workforce abroad, about lowering taxes, about repealing and replacing Obamacare, and so much more.

Indeed, the president promised an American agenda over the interests of globalism.

As we know, candidates can promise that they will make cows fly and we believe them.

However, once they become presidents, they may even betray the promises of yesteryear.

Trump: I am a nationalist and a globalist

Initially, he did not hesitate to give in to family love and commitment.

Despite his campaign promise that his Administration would reject globalism to put America First.  on the eve of his 100 days in office, he advanced his new position:

“… President Donald Trump claims he is both a nationalist and a globalist — despite campaign promises that his presidency would reject globalism and put America first.

“Hey, I’m a nationalist and a globalist,” Trump told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday. “I’m both.”

“And I’m the only one who makes the decision, believe me,” Trump said.“

A few months earlier, Trump had taken the oath of office:

“The Oath of Office:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

In fact, there is no place in the Constitution that allows any President to give authority to any other foreign entity, as Congress and the military had already begun to do during Obama.

Below, you may watch a 5-year old video with then Senator Jeff Sessions questioning then Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta and General Marty Dempsey, the then Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman.

Panetta did not doubt for a second to bypass congress and instead, got “permission” from foreign globalist entities such as NATO or the UN to commit US military forces to war.

 Trump:  Family or Country? 

It is understandable that Trump must doubt between satisfying the needs and wants of his globalist daughter and son-in-law, and his duty to the country.

Therefore, Trump’s wish for a UN Reform may be his “brilliant” way to assuage his base wary of his globalist entourage and the globalist ambitions of a daughter who could eventually run to be the first female president also under the Democratic banner if need be.

“Trump’s Globalist Plans”

Yesterday, the Jerusalem Post reported that the Russian President spokesman announced that Mr. Putin would not participate in the United Nations General Assembly in New York City this month.

 “Trump, an on-and-off-critic of the United Nations, will seek to gather global support for a UN Reform.

Trump will host an event at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Sept. 18, a day before he formally will address the 193-member organization for the first time.”

UN Reform?  

The United Nations is composed by hardcore globalists who will never accept Mr. Trump’s UN Reform efforts.

There is yet another factor to take in consideration.  The ever dwindling American financial contribution to the United Nations slowly replaced by mostly dominant Muslim countries donating proportionately to their means:  Saudi, Qatar, to name a couple only.

In fact, as recently as 2015, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gave a whopping  115 billion to the United Nations to help over 90 countries all over the world.

The Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in Geneva specified:  “… that Ksrelief [Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Relief] was derived from the good and tolerant values of Islam, the religion of peace, grace, humanity, and dignity.”   [Bold, mine. EB]

Conclusion

We would be remiss if we failed to mention the first visit abroad, to Saudi Arabia by President Trump accompanied by the First Lady and his other family members.

The photo above symbolizes the allegiance to globalization, and despite all his promises,  Trump is in it with all of them.

The master of the deal may have thought this Presidency deal is like one of his business deals, where it is not only possible but mandatory to be in good terms with as many people as possible, or otherwise a deal could fail.

The American Presidency at this stage in History is something else.

And for that reason, a potential UN Reform seems far-fetched.

At a time when the world has lost its north, the American people intuitively knew that only a bold, daring successful businessman would be their best shot at saving the country from the liberal claws.

And yet, what was Trump’s initial action on Day One right after his inauguration?

He selected a roster of globalist billionaires from Wall Street and Goldman Sachs, to be an essential part of his Administration.

Now, maybe only his base can put pressure on the President to do what is right for the country, putting aside his family interests.

But that may be too much to ask from this family man, Trump.

The United Nations is rotten from the inside, so the time has come to pray for a miracle.
